The Great Big Walk for Herts - Saturday 28th September 2024

Starting and finishing in the picturesque Heartwood Forest, we invite supporters to join us on a spectacular half marathon walk to raise money for Herts Young Homeless!

We are delighted to be a partner of Helping Herts once again this year. Through our partnership and thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, by taking part in the walk all the money you raise will be doubled, helping to make a huge difference to the lives of the young people we support who are facing homelessness.

This scenic route guided by Ian, a Hertfordshire Way expert, allows walkers to take in the beautiful scenery of Heartwood Forest, home to over half a million trees and wildflower meadows, before heading to Coleman Green, Brocket Park and Nomansland before heading back to Sandridge.

We will be stopping halfway at the grounds of St Helen’s Church in Wheathampsted for lunch.

So whether you come as a team, you walk with your dog or you come on your own, join us and help to raise money for hyh this September!

Registration costs £15 with discounted prices for groups of four, with all sign-ups receiving a free hyh top to wear on the day!

We do not ask for a fundraising target to take part, we just ask that you raise as much as you can and our friendly fundraising team will be here to support you.

We would love to have you join us!
