Is Nightrider for me?

  • You should be confident in cycling alongside London traffic as London’s roads are busy even at night. The route is mainly on quieter roads, but it does take in some of London’s lively spots such as Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square, which will be busy with the public and vehicles.
  • This event is not a race and is not timed and we encourage people to cycle responsibly.
  • Most people complete the 100km route in 6-8 hours. The maximum time permitted is 10 hours.
  • You should be prepared to put in some training prior to the event - it is a challenge and you will need to be able to cycle 50km or 100km. We therefore do not recommend this event for beginner riders.
  • Riders must be over 16 and anyone under 18 will require a signed letter of consent from their parent/guardian
  • You can find out more about the event here https://www.nightrider.org.uk/faqs
