Nightstop Herts Host Wins Award For Selfless Service

One of hyh's longest serving Nightstop Herts hosts, Margaret, received some well-deserved recognition for her selfless support when she won gold in the volunteer category at the recent BBC Three Counties People Awards.

The awards, hosted at The Grove Theatre in Dunstable, celebrate the exceptional people of Beds, Herts and Bucks.


Generous Golfers Pitch In ‘Fore’ HYH!

Golfers scrambled into action to support hyh at this year’s Charity Golf Day at Harpenden Common.

The event, sponsored by Hertford-based construction and property consultants Westside Services, raised over £9,200.

We are especially proud of this service because it has been set up by former hyh service users who want to use their experiences of homelessness to help other young people. And we’re delighted that the time and effort Live Life members put into supporting others is already being recognised.


HYH Puts Its Trust In Volunteers

Sukhvinder is a Corporate Policy Officer for Hertfordshire County Council and has been volunteering for hyh for almost three years as one of our Trustees.

The Board of Trustees are responsible for governing hyh. They decide how we are run and make sure all decisions put the needs of the vulnerable people we support first.
