ValentinesOn Saturday the 11th February, friends of hyh held a valentine’s themed coffee morning at Harpenden High Street Methodist church, in their cafe; serving tea, coffee and other beverages and an array of valentine themed cupcakes, biscuits and larger cakes....

XmasThis year hyh, entered into the annual Hitchin Christmas Tree Festival in the Holy Saviour Church Radcliffe Road, Hitchin, to help raise the profile of hyh and raise funds. Our  tree entry was  ‘Homeless in Herts’, sporting our new logo and wooden shapes, containing figures and facts about homelessness and doors with celebrities behind, that were once homeless themselves...

Harpenden Christmas Carnival

On Sunday 27th November, Friends of hyh held a stall at Harpenden Christmas Carnival. Selling handmade Christmas cards and gifts and holding a tombola. The stall was manned by John Robinson, Anna Morris, Juliet Mackney and Felicity. A great time was had by all soaking up the Christmas atmosphere and thankfully the weather held out!
