In January 2022, hyh welcomed a new CEO when we were joined by Jonny Whitehead. Here’s a special message for all our supporters from Jonny:
“I joined hyh a few weeks ago and I knew immediately that I was joining an amazing team. They really do work wonders for young people every day.
I was also struck from day one by the strength and depth of support we receive from you and hundreds like you in Hertfordshire. Together we can, and do, achieve so much to transform the lives of young people who are homeless or at risk of it.
In 2021, we continued to be flexible in our approach, bending to the needs of the pandemic to be able to provide mediation, outreach, floating support and gave help and support through The Hub and advice line - helping hundreds of young people and their families. hyh ended 2021 with a hugely successful Sleepout event and saw unprecedented generosity from our supporters and corporate partners in our Big Give appeal.
It’s thanks to people like yourself who continue to support us that we can work with so many young people. On behalf of myself and the whole team at hyh, I want to thank you and look forward to meeting some of you at our upcoming events throughout the year.”
