Herts Young Homeless are proud to announce the launch of an exciting new project.
We are teaming up with the Mardleybury Gallery, Datchworth to create an exhibition centering around the theme of ‘New Beginnings’. The project will be a collaboration between hyh, Mardleybury Gallery, Mardleybury Gallery Artists, and Hertfordshire school children.
Pupils will be invited to write a poem about their interpretation of homelessness, and the artists will each create pieces based upon these poems. The art and poems will then be displayed alongside each other at an exhibition at the gallery in May 2016, where the art will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to help the work of hyh.
