Herts young homeless (hyh) is a unique charity that supports people who are homeless or being faced with homelessness across Hertfordshire. We work with over 1,800 people per year and make a significant difference to the lives of young people who feel they have nowhere left to turn.

24 hours per week
Core hours Mon – Thurs 10.30am – 5.00pm NB – Flexible hours - some evenings (no more than two a month) and occasional Saturday (no more than two a year) working required
Fixed term contract until September 16 – with further funding anticipated
Position will be based in Hatfield and the salary will be £19,000 pro rata
The Crashpad service provides temporary emergency accommodation for vulnerable 16 – 17 year olds in crisis and at risk of homelessness for 21 nights. The post is varied and affiliated by DePaul UK Nightstop.
Advice & Information worker, Countywide
37hours per week
Fixed term contract until July 16 – with further funding anticipated
Position will be based in Hatfield and will be working countywide and the salary will be £21,500 per annum
