Sleep Out for Herts Young Homeless!
When: Friday 4th December 2015
Time: 9pm – 7am
Where: St Albans Abbey
Take part in hyh’s fourth annual Sleep Out at St Albans Abbey to support those who cannot reply on a roof over their heads or a safe home to come back to. With your help and sponsorship, we can continue with our valued work. So wrap up warm to brave the cold, grab some friends and help raise money and awareness of homelessness with us!
If you, or anyone you know, is interested in taking part, or would like more information about the event, please register your interest here
That way we can keep you updated with all of the information and let you know what to do running up to the event.
At Herts Young Homeless (hyh), we believe that every person deserves a safe warm home. We are committed to making a real difference to the lives of young people aged 16 – 24 in Hertfordshire who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and have helped around 1800 people in the last year.
We welcome as many people to Sleep Out for us as possible, however:
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian
- Young people aged between 12 – 18 years old must be led by one adult group leader (over 21 years) with a maximum of 8 to a group. Each young person must bring a completed sleep-out registration form giving parental and medical consent
