On Saturday 7th March Herts Young Homeless (hyh) attended Hitchin Town FC’s Youth Day to raise awareness for hyh and accept a generous donation of £300. The funds were generated from Hitchin Town FC’s success in the Herts Charity Cup competition which is staged by the Hertfordshire Football Association.
The day marked the start of an ongoing partnership between hyh and Hitchin Town FC and both partners are looking forward to holding more events in the future.
Herts Young Homeless said, ‘We are very grateful for Hitchin Town FC’s support. Thank you for your very generous donation, it will go a long way towards supporting young and vulnerable people in the local community.
