The 26th of September saw the return of hyh’s Annual Charity Golf Day, now in its fourth year, which raised just under £5,500 – a new record for our major fundraiser!
As the 63 golfers took to the course at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club in Harpenden, the sun even managed to make a welcome appearance, continuing our (extremely) lucky streak with the weather from previous years.

After 18 holes of golf and a stop at the Halfway House refreshments stand, the 16 teams of golfers were able to enjoy a drink or two in the clubhouse to relax before their two-course meal and the much-anticipated awards presentations. Thanks to Birkdale Trophies for the trophies and engraving service.
The awards up for grabs…
The meal was followed by a lively auction and raffle thanks to generous donations from local businesses and supporters. Top prizes ranged from spa days to rounds of golf for four at exclusive clubs Hanbury Manor and Essendon and signed sporting memorabilia.
