Ladbrokes have recently donated £5,000 to hyh from their Community Fund.
The Ladbrokes Community Fund aims to support charities and good causes within the local community. It also operates a Charitable Trust which has given over £6 million to good causes since 2003 and takes part in various charity events.
The generous £5,000 will go towards maintaining the vital county wide services of hyh which supports over 2,000 vulnerable young people each year who are homeless or faced with homelessness, especially important in these tough economic times.
Glenn Middleton, Chief Executive of hyh says “We’re absolutely delighted with the grant from Ladbrokes Community Fund which will help us maintain our vital services in these challenging times. It is to their great credit that such a market leader in the leisure industry is able to demonstrate a commitment to helping others.”
Richard Royal, Public Affairs Manager at Ladbrokes, added “Many people forget that companies like Ladbrokes offer more than the obvious leisure and entertainment activity. We employ a huge number of people, make significant investment and help to create footfall for other local businesses, all of which are more important than ever in these difficult times.
“Supporting the communities that we exist within is part and parcel of our work.”
Thank you Ladbrokes for your very generous donation!
