Partners from John Lewis store in Watford spent a week in July fundraising for Herts Young Homeless (hyh). They set themselves a challenge of completing 2012 kilometres through taking part in zumba classes, line dancing, cycling, walking and running. They achieved and exceeded their target and managed a fantastic 2188 kilometres! They also raised an amazing £900 for hyh in the process!

hyh staff visited and supported the John Lewis store during the challenge. Kathryn Salmon, Head of hyh Floating Support Service, commented ‘It was a real pleasure to meet the John Lewis Partners, they were such an enthusiastic team who all seem to love working for John Lewis, their commitment and loyalty really shone through’. Claire Gilbert from John Lewis commented ‘To have charity presence there was an important part of our goal in achieving awareness and donation for hyh’.

Thank you to John Lewis Partners for their fabulous fundraising efforts and to all John Lewis Watford customers who supported the Partners in their challenge and donated to hyh!
