On Saturday the 11th February, friends of hyh held a valentine’s themed coffee morning at Harpenden High Street Methodist church, in their cafe; serving tea, coffee and other beverages and an array of valentine themed cupcakes, biscuits and larger cakes. It was an extremely busy morning, with lots of people coming in from the sub-zero temperatures for a warm drink! A lot of interest was generated about the charity and we received some very generous donations on top of the sales we made. In total the morning made £191! So many thanks, to all who braved the weather and came along to support us.
