Helen is an energetic and experienced CEO with ten years’ experience in senior leadership/strategic positions within the voluntary sector. She is passionate about empowering young people and their families and has seen, first hand, the impact of homelessness having previously worked as both a youth counsellor and Mediation Services Manager.
Helen is attracted by the values she sees demonstrated by hyh which centre on empowerment, equality, confidence-building and people taking time out to listen
Head of Fundraising
Having spent 7 years in the Leisure industry, Kathryn joined hyh in 1998, and is now the charity’s longest serving employee. Working closely and maintaining close relationships with partner agencies she leads the Floating Support team, and oversees the Ex-Offender Support work, sub-contracted to us from St Mungo’s. An enthusiastic contributor to the Marketing and Fundraising effort, Kathryn can regularly be found undertaking some competitive challenge in order to help the cause.
Director of Business
Debbie joined hyh in 2004 and has worked in the homeless sector for 19 years. After working in a residential hostel for homeless young people involving outreach and community work with those at risk of losing their tenancies, Debbie moved to Watford New Hope Trust, managing their day centre.
Director of Operations
Having worked with young people and vulnerable adults for over 20 years, Sally joined hyh in 2007. Sally has a wide range of experience in both the local authority and voluntary sector and is passionate about the services we provide and the people we support.
