What is the service?

‘Home Truths’ provides education to young people to prepare them for the realities of leaving home and living independently, and informs them of the options, support and advice that is available. In providing this service, our aim is to reduce the occurrence of youth homelessness.

‘Home Truths’ offers lessons, workshops and assemblies which complement the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum and the 'Every Child Matters' agenda.

Who is the service for?

We provide education to young people aged 12 – 21 years. Upon request, we will consider providing sessions to groups of children and young people outside of this age bracket.

Educational establishments we have previously worked in include: Secondary Schools, Colleges, E2E providers, youth groups and other youth clubs.

What areas are covered?

‘Home Truths’ offers a FREE service to all education providers within the county of Hertfordshire and offers a service to those external to Hertfordshire at a competitive price.

Length of service

Our service is completely flexible to ensure we can meet the needs of your organisation and timetable.
