On Sunday 27th November, Friends of hyh held a stall at Harpenden Christmas Carnival. Selling handmade Christmas cards and gifts and holding a tombola. The stall was manned by John Robinson, Anna Morris, Juliet Mackney and Felicity. A great time was had by all soaking up the Christmas atmosphere and thankfully the weather held out! We generated a lot of interest in the charity, and many people were surprised at what an issue homelessness is in the area. Most importantly though we raised £230 for hyh! So, a big thank you to everyone who helped out on the day and came along and supported us! |
